We offer small and medium-sized wind turbines in distributed generation applications. 

Distributed generation refers to the generation of energy on-site, for direct “behind the meter” use, to decrease the expense of electric bills from the utility company.  This is fundamentally different from a wind farm, in which electric energy is generated by large wind turbines and sold at wholesale rates to a utility.

Our wind turbines can be connected to the utility grid, or installed as “stand-alone” systems, depending on the specific design that best meets your needs.

We offer a complete program and a long-term partnership with the wind turbine owner, including economic analysis, site selection, regulatory compliance, installation, and on-going monitoring and support.

What are the economic benefits of an on-site wind turbine?

The primary benefit is savings on electric utility costs, as the energy from the wind turbine greatly reduces your consumption from the utility.

In some cases, you may also be able to reduce those utility charges pertaining to peak charges. 

In addition, our wind/diesel hybrid systems can provide you with reliable backup power in the event of an outage on the grid.
